FTI Consulting to Release Second-Quarter 2006 Results and Host Conference Call

Baltimore, MD - July 20, 2006
FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN), a premier provider of problem-solving consulting and technology services to major corporations, financial institutions and law firms, today announced that it will release financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2006 after the close of the market on Monday, July 31, 2006.
A conference call with be held to discuss financial results on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Participants will include: Jack Dunn, FTI's president and chief executive officer; Dennis Shaughnessy, FTI's chairman; Dominic DiNapoli, executive vice president and chief operating officer; and Theodore I. Pincus, executive vice president and chief financial officer.
The conference call will be simulcast live on the Internet, and can be accessed by logging onto the company's website at www.fticonsulting.com. A replay will be available on the company's website for 90 days.
