FTI Consulting to Release 2005 Third-Quarter Results and Host Conference Call

Annapolis, MD - October 11, 2005
FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN), a premier provider of problem-solving consulting and technology services to major corporations, financial institutions and law firms, today announced that it will release financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2005 after the close of the market on Monday, October 31, 2005.
Dennis Shaughnessy, FTI's chairman, Jack Dunn, FTI's president and chief executive officer, Dominic DiNapoli, executive vice president and chief operating officer, and Theodore I. Pincus, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will host a conference call to discuss financial results on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
The conference call will be simulcast live on the Internet, and can be accessed by logging onto the company's website at www.fticonsulting.com. A replay will be available on the company's website for 90 days.
