FTI Consulting to Release 2005 Fourth-Quarter and Year-End Results and Host Conference Call

Baltimore, MD - January 18, 2006
FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN), a premier provider of problem-solving consulting and technology services to major corporations, financial institutions and law firms, today announced that it will release financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2005 after the close of the market on Tuesday, February 14, 2006.
A conference call with be held to discuss financial results on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Participants will include: Dennis Shaughnessy, FTI's chairman; Jack Dunn, FTI's president and chief executive officer; Dominic DiNapoli, executive vice president and chief operating officer; and Theodore I. Pincus, executive vice president and chief financial officer.
The conference call will be simulcast live on the Internet, and can be accessed by logging onto the company's website at www.fticonsulting.com. A replay will be available on the company's website for 90 days.
