FTI Consulting Announces Plans to Webcast Third-Quarter Earnings Conference Call on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004 at 11:00am Eastern

Annapolis, MD - October 12, 2004
FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN), the premier provider of corporate finance/restructuring, forensic and litigation consulting, and economic consulting, today announced it plans to release its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2004, after the close of the market on Wednesday, October 27, 2004. Jack Dunn, FTI's chairman, chief executive officer and president, Dominic DiNapoli, executive vice president and chief operating officer, and Theodore I. Pincus, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will host a conference call to discuss these financial results on Thursday, October 28, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
