Robert Werle, Joseph Sherwood, and Raymond Zale Join as Senior Managing Directors

FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN), the premier provider of corporate finance/restructuring, forensic and litigation consulting, and economic consulting, today announced that its wholly-owned investment banking subsidiary, FTI Capital Advisors, LLC, has added three additional experienced investment bankers to the team. Robert M. Werle, Joseph C. Sherwood and Raymond J. Zale have joined FTI Capital Advisors, LLC as senior managing directors.

Robert (Bob) Werle joins FTI Capital Advisors, LLC as a senior managing director. Mr. Werle brings nearly 20 years of investment banking experience providing advisory and capital raising services to middle market and large corporate clients. Prior to founding his own advisory firm, Mr. Werle was most recently a managing director in the investment banking department of Jefferies & Company, Inc. While at Jefferies he completed a number of assignments for companies in a variety of industries, including education and training, real estate and property services, business services, consumer and retail, general industrial, healthcare and technology. He has also worked for Robertson Stephens & Company, PaineWebber, Inc., and Drexel Burnham Lambert.

Mr. Werle holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the UCLA Graduate School of Management. He will work out of FTI's Los Angeles office and lead the investment banking expansion effort for the western region.

Joseph (Jay) Sherwood joins FTI Capital Advisors, LLC as a senior managing director. Mr. Sherwood brings over 20 years of investment banking experience providing advisory and capital raising services to middle market clients in southern California. Mr. Sherwood was most recently a managing director, head of the investment and merchant banking departments, and a member of the Board at The Seidler Companies, a leading regional investment banking firm based in Los Angeles. He brings transaction experience in a number of industries including consumer and industrial products, media and entertainment, and specialty retailing.

Mr. Sherwood also worked for NatWest Markets and Drexel Burham Lambert. Mr. Sherwood received a BS degree in finance (magna cum laude) and an MBA from USC. Mr. Sherwood will join Mr. Werle in FTI's Los Angeles office.

Raymond (Ray) Zale joins FTI Capital Advisors, LLC as a senior managing director. Mr. Zale brings nearly 20 years of investment banking experience in the restaurant, food manufacturing, food distribution, and consumer food products industry segments. He was most recently a principal, shareholder, and director of J.H. Chapman Group, based in Dallas, a nationally recognized investment banking boutique with a special focus on the food industry. Prior to his tenure at Chapman, Mr. Zale led the fast food and restaurant financing effort for GlenFed Financial Corp.

Mr. Zale holds a BA with distinction from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and an MBA from University of Texas, Austin. He will work out of FTI's Dallas office to develop the national restaurant and food practice.
