Dennis Carlton Named Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Economic Analysis at the Department of Justice

Baltimore, MD - August 18, 2006
FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN), a premier provider of problem-solving consulting and technology services to major corporations, financial institutions and law firms, today announced that Dennis Carlton, a Senior Managing Director in its Lexecon economic consulting unit has been selected to become the Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Economic Analysis in the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice. During his term, which is expected to begin in October, Professor Carlton will be responsible for supervising the Division's economists and research relating to matters of interest to the Antitrust Division. In addition, he expects to focus on comparative international antitrust issues in the ever more complex and challenging arena of the expanding global economy.
