Compass Lexecon's Janusz Ordover Named Competition Economist Individual Expert of the Year
WASHINGTON, May 4, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE:FCN), the global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organizations protect and enhance their enterprise value, today announced that the firm has won three 2015 Who's Who Legal Awards. FTI Consulting was honored as the Arbitration Expert Firm of the Year and Compass Lexecon, an FTI Consulting subsidiary, was named as the Competition Economist Firm of the Year. Additionally, Compass Lexecon's Janusz Ordover, a Senior Consultant, was named as the 2015 Competition Economist Individual Expert of the Year.
Dr. Ordover is a Professor of Economics at New York University and a former Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Economics in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. He has a highly distinguished academic record of writings and lectures that have brought to bear the best that economics has to offer on the crucial issues in competition policy and its implementation.

The winners were announced on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the second annual Who's Who Legal Awards ceremony at the W Hotel in Washington, D.C. The Arbitration Expert Firm of the Year award was accepted by James Searby, Senior Managing Director and Greig Taylor, Managing Director, both in the firm's Economic Consulting segment.
