FTI Consulting Acquires Certain Practices of LECG Corporation

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., March 1, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --

FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN), the global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organizations protect and enhance their enterprise value, today announced that it has acquired the International Arbitration and Airline Competition practices of LECG Corporation (Nasdaq: XPRT). The terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

FTI Consulting, Inc. also confirmed it continues to evaluate the possible acquisition of several additional practice groups from LECG. No definitive agreement has been entered into with respect to the other practice group transactions under discussion, and accordingly no assurance can be given that any agreement will be signed or any other LECG practice groups will be acquired. FTI Consulting does not intend to make any further announcements or communications regarding discussions with LECG until either a definitive agreement has been reached or discussions are terminated without any agreement being reached.
